Since Ten Years After in 2007, the program has featured rock nights with some regularity with a focus on "classic rock" greats: Uriah Heep in 2011, Manfred Mann in 2012, Barclay James Harvest and the stainless Status Quo in 2013, Nazareth in 2014, The Quireboys and Uriah Heep in 2015, Vintage Trouble in 2016 and Wishbone Ash in 2017. Since 2018 we then decided to include a "Special Rock Night" every year, which since 2022 we have formalized as "Magic ROCK Night." In these last editions we had with us CoreLeoni (2018), the legendary Ian Paice, drummer of Deep Purple (2019), Brain Downey Alive & Dangerous (2021), The Quireboys (2022) and last year the great Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell with his The Bastard Sons.

Also for the next edition Cevio, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, will host the sixth edition of "Magic ROCK Night" with a true legend of world rock, "The Voice of Rock", Glenn Hughes formerly of Deep Purple arrives in Vallemaggia, with his new tour, Glenn Hughes - Performs classical Deep Purple Live and it will be an opportunity to listen again and celebrate "Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of BURN" the legendary Deep Purple album released just 50 years ago! Glenn Hughes is known worldwide for playing bass and singing in the Mark III and IV lineups of Deep Purple, after he was recruited to replace Roger Glover on bass in 1973. With David Coverdale hired at the same time as Deep Purple's lead vocalist they shared the lead vocal role in the band for the next three albums Burn (1974), Stormbringer (1974) and Come Taste the Band (1975), until they disbanded in 1976. He participated in Black Sabbath's album Seventh Star (1984). In 2016 Hughes was inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" as a member of Deep Purple. After a brief period of absence for health reasons Hughes returned to the big time in the early 2000s with a long series of proposals and collaborations, including those with John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers). He later founded the supergroup Black Country Communion (Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian) and in recent years was a member of The Dead Daisies. Leaving The Dead Daisies since 2023 he has been taking the "Glenn Hughes - Performs classical Deep Purple live" project around the world. Legendary evening not to be missed!!!
