Scorching summer in Vallemaggia! 

The program weaves together history, legends, and new discoveries. 

The spirit of Woodstock ’69 returns with the MILLER ANDERSON BAND, a Scottish blues-rock legend, guitarist and singer of the Keef Hartley Band at Woodstock. Last call for a legend: COLOSSEUM with founding members Farlowe, Clempson, Clarke, pioneers of a visionary sound blending rock, jazz, and blues. 

And then the magic of PAUL JONES & JOHN ETHERIDGE, voice of Manfred Mann and guitar of Soft Machine, together for the first time at Vallemaggia Magic Blues, between blues, soul, improvisation, and pure musical alchemy. After 13 years, the incendiary slide guitar of ERIC SARDINAS is once again shaking the valley. 

Then LARISSA BAUMANN, the new star of Swiss soul; the welcome return of Danish blues-rock with THORBJØRN RISAGER & THE BLACK TORNADO, one of the most authoritative acts on the European scene; and Texas-based TY LE BLANC BAND, with a contemporary soul vibe blending blues, R&B, and rock. 

The 8th EUROPEAN BLUES NIGHT is confirmed, featuring Italy’s SACROMUD, the latest winners of the Swiss Blues Challenge EVE GALLAGHER BAND, and France’s CHARB-ON. 

Grand finale with the second MAGIC ROCK NIGHTS, guitars cranked to full volume: the Texan Blues-metal prodigy ERIC STECKEL and the hard rock power of Lausanne’s SIDEBURN unleashed a storm on stage.
