PLEASE NOTE: Change of schedule, The Yardbirds will be in Cevio on July 24. Dr. Feelgood is coming to Maggia on August 7!

Even magic sometimes has to deal with the unexpected. It is with great regret that we announce a change to the program of Vallemaggia Magic Blues 2025. Our festival is not just a festival: it is a pulsating experience in the mountains, an interweaving of emotions, music and encounters. And it is precisely in this spirit that we deal with the unexpected by turning it into an opportunity. The magic does not change, it simply finds new ways: it will continue to flow through the stone alleys, to shine under the stars of our beloved Vallemaggia.

Due to an unfortunate coincidence of dates, and for reasons beyond our control, the highly anticipated concert by The Yardbirds, originally scheduled to take place in Maggia on August 7, will be brought forward to Thursday, July 24, and will be held in Cevio. But like any great story, this turn of events will also ignite a new spark: the legendary Dr. Feelgood will take the stage in Maggia on August 7, ready to make the square vibrate with their explosive energy. More than 15 years after their last performance, they return to set Magic Blues ablaze with a performance that promises strong emotions.

July 24 in Cevio: Magic Rock Night by legends! Memorable evening with two iconic bands: returning to Ticino, after more than 60 years, The Yardbirds, standard bearers of the British Rock Invasion and hotbed of legends such as Clapton, Beck and Page. Led by co-founder Jim McCarty, with a new live album out, they will bring their revolutionary sound, between blues, psychedelia and proto-heavy, to the stage. Opening the evening, as scheduled, FM, stars of British AOR since the 1980s, who are celebrating 40 years of their career with the Old Habits Die Hard world tour. With them, a long history of hits and collaborations with giants such as Tina Turner, Foreigner and Gary Moore.

Grand finale on Aug. 7 in Maggia. Spotlight on Dr. Feelgood, among the world's longest-running live R&B bands. Formed in the early 1970s, they left an indelible mark with songs like Roxette, Milk and Alcohol and Down at the Doctors. Today they return more charged than ever with the historic Morris-Mitchell rhythm section, guitarist Gordon Russell and the scratchy vocals of Robert Kane. Opening is Ticino's The Hus-Band, "neighborhood rockstars" who with their Cheap Rock bring a mix of riffs, groove and authenticity to the stage.

Please be advised that already purchased tickets remain valid for the substitute evening. For those who would like a refund, please follow the instructions of our partners ticketing.ch or ticketcorner.ch. Thank you for your enthusiasm: the journey continues... and will once again be unforgettable!
